Summertime Party with Pebbles!

It's HOT HOT HOT outside here in Utah and I'm ready for a summer filled with swimming and outdoor parties!  I created a little party using the Party with Amy Locurto collection by Pebbles.

The lantern was cut using the Lantern Die by Lifestyle Crafts (from the Tropical Splash release).
The pillow box and other treat boxes were cut using Silhouette files by Lori Whitlock, and the party hat was also cut using the Silhouette with a file by Samantha Walker.

The pics were easy.  I just used the pre-made rosette stickers from the collection, removed the rhinestone from the center and added a scalloped sticker on top.

The card was printed from Word onto vellum and adhered onto the front of patterned paper using vellum adhesive.

The banner was cut using a paper trimmer, and the rosettes were made using American Crafts cardstock and  Tacky Tape.  The letters were done using the Silhouette cameo and a basic font (sorry I can't remember which one) and the tags were simply cut out of a 12x12 sheet of patterned paper from the collection and adhered.  Then I punched holes with a hole punch and threaded the banner with twine.

Easy, cute and fun!

Thanks for visiting!

Bella Blvd Fabric Style with Silhouette! Girl's Summer Outfit + Promo

Bella Blvd had a fun opportunity to team up with Silhouette, and I was able to play with the new
Fabric Blade and Heat Transfer Interfacing.
It was such a fun project, that I decided to create a full step-by-step tutorial to go along with it.

You can find the FULL TUTORIAL which walks you through how to cut fabric with the Silhouette Cameo
and create a NO SEW design for a shirt, go to the Bella Blvd Blog HERE!

I also decided to create a matching skirt and headband to make a complete outfit.

The headband features Crochet Flowers and Crochet Hearts by Bella Blvd.
They are great for fabric projects, too!

And the skirt and shirt feature Bella Blvd's Sunny Happy Skies and Puppy Park fabrics for Riley Blake Fabrics.

Pebbles Sketch Layout- Never Grow Up

Each month there are usually two Page Maps sketches that the Pebbles design team uses to create fun layouts.  This month I was assigned this cute sketch.

And here's my layout.

I haven't used Sunnyside in a while, and with the weather getting warmer I wanted to pull it out.  It's so happy and cute.  This is my daughter at the playground (don't you love iPhone pictures?) and as I watched her that day I got a little emotional thinking about how much I love her at this age.  I love everything about her and I wish I could freeze time and keep her at this point in her life.  But I know that each year I'll love her more and more as I watch her grow.

The flowers were cut from the Cricut Bloom cartridge and the title was made with a couple of fonts on my Silhouette, welded together, and then offset twice for the shadows.

I Love Everything About You

Anyone else out there married to your best friend?  The person you'd rather be with all day long than anyone else?  My husband and I have known each other since I was 14 years old.  We've been friends for so long that I don't remember much of my life without him in it.

He is my rock.  He is the one who keeps me going when things get hard, and supports me in all of my endeavors.  He is the one who cheers me on and encourages me to shoot for all of my dreams- the big dreams and the little things.  I can't express with any amount of words what he means to me, though I try every day to do so.  I love everything about him.

This layout is simple, yet expresses with words my admiration for who he is.  He is a wonderful husband and father.  He makes me laugh every single day.  I can't wait to see what the next 100 years brings :)

This layout uses Pebbles Walnut Grove and Country Picnic collections, as well as two Silhouette cuts you can find HERE and HERE. And if you are inspired to scrapbook the loves in your life, then please do so.  And find even more inspiration for "Love is in the Air" week on the Pebbles Blog.
