Doodlebug Halloween Mini Album (part 2)

If you've been a reader of mine for a while now (a couple of years)
you may remember a mini album I did for Doodlebug Design two years ago.

You can see it HERE.

Well- I decided it's time to add to it.  So here are some new pages for the last couple of years

2011:

I just love the washi tape by Doodlebug.  It's by far the cutest out there.

 2012

Aren't the new stickers so dang cute!!???

And I can't wait to add another spread in a couple of weeks for this year!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun- My Mind's Eye Mini Album

I created this mini album for my local scrapbook store, Heartland Paper Company
using the new "My Girl" collection by My Mind's Eye.  It's a display album, hence the lack of photos.

It's definitely one of my favorite mini albums to date.

I really don't know what to say other than you have to own this collection-
it's cuter than I can put into words.

My Mind's Eye is a master of product design.

Enjoy!

The album is a 6x6 Clear Scraps chipboard album, the twine is Doodlebug's Doodle Twine, cardstock is Bazzill, and the ribbon is seam binding ribbon and velvet rick rack from Heartland Paper Company (not sure of the manufacturer).

See the entire My Mind's Eye My Girl Collection and all of their other fabulous collections HERE.

Imaginisce "Love You More" and Doodlebug "Thankful for" projects

Imaginisce is releasing their newest collection "Love You More" this week,
so the design team is showing off their projects made with this cute new collection.

This is more of a sophisticated collection than what Imaginisce usually creates, and I'm totally in love with it. I really like where they took the design, and the colors are fantastic.

And yes, there's washi tape!  Swoon!
The ribbons on both of these projects are from May Arts, and the doilies are from the
baking section of the craft store.

And over at the Doodlebug Blog, we're celebrating our blessings.
Instead of a layout, I decided to make a gratitude journal.

The sentiment is a rub-on that was long and skinny.  I just applied it in individual words to fit it into the window of this Doodlebug Plain and Simple chipboard album.  This is the scallop eyelet album.

All the ribbons, twine, papers, stickers, and buttons are Doodlebug, too.
The stamp "Thankful for" is from Stampin' Up!

I put pockets inside for each year so we can record what we were thankful for each year and then go back later and read them.  It will be fun to see my kids' answers each year as they get older.

Doodlebug Mother's Day Card and Recipe Book Mini

This week the Doodlebug team received a great sketch by Design Team member Jessy Christopher to use to create Mother's Day cards

My mom's a big-time seamstress and cook, so I used the Nifty Notions collection to make her card. I didn't even need a sentiment, the die cuts and stickers say it all. She's going to love it, it's perfect for her.
The spool of thread and the scissors are Boutique Brads from the collection.  They're two of my favorite items Doodlebug has ever made.  I've been hoarding them.  It shows how much I love my mom to give her a card with such valuable embellishments :)

Here's Jessy's great sketch so you can play along:
We were also challenged to create a Mother's Day gift, so since my mom loves cooking I made a recipe book that she can put our favorite family recipes in (and then hopefully give it to me one day :)

The entire book was made using the Bon Appetit collection of papers, die cuts, stickers, buttons, ribbon, and brads, and a Doodlebug chipboard album. I also used Doodlebug's petite prints cardstock for the colored circles.
The inks are new Doodlebug pigment ink pads by Color Box!
I love the colors- they match perfectly and are very high quality and great to work with.
The stamps are Stampin' Up

Head on over to the Doodlebug Blog to see more great Mother's Day ideas!

Thanks for visiting!

Halloween Mini Album

I've had so much fun playing with
"Monster Mania"!
It just might take "Nifty Notions" place as my favorite paper line.

Everyone who knows me well knows that Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I've been wanting to do a mini-album for a long time for my kids to look at and remember their costumes from year to year.  They had a lot of fun tonight looking at it, and so did my husband.
And look who made the front cover!  My favorite blue monster!  Right where he belongs :)
So CUTE I can't stand it!
