Pebbles Valentine's Decor Projects

I can't tell you how many hurdles I've had to endure lately.  It's been a while since I've blogged, but I think I'm finally back, and I'm excited to show you what I've been up to.

I've had no computer for a month.  It's the third computer to die in two years for us, so I'm down to a laptop for the time being, but it's a computer, so I'm doing my best while the computer is being fixed by the pro's.

Also- I'm expecting a baby!

I've been super sick and on top of it I've had three bouts of sinus infection/cold/pneumonia in two months.
One thing after another.....

But I'm back :)

The "Yours Truly" collection from Pebbles is one of my favorite Valentine's collections ever.  The colors are beautiful.  I love the aqua and pink and red, and the elements are all well designed and on trend.

I made this banner out of wood and embellished it with patterned paper, stickers, Chips chipboard elements, twine, tags, and dimensional adhesive.

This is my favorite 3x4 card in this collection.  Simple and striking.  The cards come in the Phrase Cards pack and are always one of my favorite embellishments from Pebbles.  I combined the card with a dimensional sticker and some of my favorite patterned papers from the collection.

I added Pebbles Glitter Candy Dots to the centers of these flowers from the Dimensional Stickers pack for dimension and shine, and the heart and arrow are from the Phrase and Accent sticker sheet.

These tags are fabulous, and I used them on both of these projects.  They come pre-made in a variety pack and every one of them is adorable.  I love the chalkboard look.

And these paper strips are the barcode strips from the patterned paper.  I always keep these and use them on cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects.

My other project is another wood decor piece.  This one was done with Mod-Podge and a bit of glitter.  These letters and the banner pieces above were purchased un-finished from a wood store called Wood Creations here in Utah.

I traced the letters onto patterned paper, cut them out, and then Mod-Podged the paper shapes onto the wood.  I then Mod-Podged over the top of the paper to protect it from damage during storage.

The tag is from the Tags pack I mentioned above.  It's super cute by itself, so I simply tied it onto my ribbon.

I used a lot of Chips chipboard pieces on these two projects.  I love the dimension chipboard brings to projects.  Here are more Glitter Candy Dots, this time in aqua.

And after adhering this patterned paper strip to the front of this painted wood block, I painted Mod Podge around the border with a foam brush and poured glitter over the top (over a tray, of course, to save the excess).  The glitter is Wow Extra Fine Glitter by American Crafts.

Thanks for visiting!  More projects soon, including some fun ones I made in January!
