Doodlebug "Love" Card

Doodlebug has the cutest new Valentine's line out right now called Love Birds.  It's a whimsical bright pink and blue collection full of birds and love notes and Doodlebug cuteness.  Hidden in the collection are a few softer colors and elements: soft pinks and whites, roses, and doilies.  I decided to pull out just the soft elements and create a card.  You wouldn't initially think Doodlebug when you look at this, would you?

They also have new Heart Pearls that I just adore.  They come in red, light pink, dark pink, and white.

And the darling Valentine's Doodle Twine!  I love twine, but I especially love cute multi-colored twine like this!  Pitter-patter.

"Make Mine A Double" with Pebbles

On the Pebbles blog this week we're all making two-page layouts.  My layout has five collections mixed throughout, but it's mostly the new Family Ties collection.

I do really like making two page layouts.  I don't know why I don't do it more often.  It's a chance to get more photos on a layout, and who doesn't have more photos than they know what too do with?

These photos were taken a few years ago on Mother's Day.  I was given a new point-and-shoot camera and my boys were all too eager to pose for me (in their pajamas).  These photos show their relationship to a "T"- they are the best of friends and they do everything together.  They're the same height now, too, so people always ask if they're twins.

Valentine's Layout and Cards-New Lines from My Mind's Eye, Echo Park and Bo Bunny

Have you ever created a layout and then stepped back and thought "this is my favorite layout ever"?
Well that's what happened to me with this one.

It has a lot to do with the beautiful baby girl in the photo, of course, but also because this line by My Mind's Eye is breathtaking.  It's feminine and detailed, and has such delicate elements and design.

These beautiful chipboard banners are self adhesive and the glitter won't rub off.
I layered them for more dimension, and so I could incorporate every one on the die cut sheet.

The collection also has a beautiful brad pack, some solid colored, some with patterns, and some with die cuts attached.  They're simply beautiful.

The butterfly, date label, and the banner with the title are all from a 12x12 sticker sheet.

This is definitely a layout I'll frame and never put into an album once I get it back.
(All these projects are currently at my local scrapbook store, Heartland Paper Company).

Echo Park has a fun new Valentine's line out right now called Love Story.
It's got a great mix of lovely almost vintage looking elements mixed with bright bold colors and trendy patterns.

The cupcake and stand, heart candy, button, and flags are from the chipboard accents sheet.  It has so many more of the cutest little images, including a "sweet" banner and a darling little camera.  I'll definitely be making more with those.

All the papers on this card are from this collection except for the white cardstock with black polka dots, which is Bo Bunny Double-Dot cardstock.
The twine is Doodlebug's DoodleTwine.

And finally I made two cards with the new Love Letters line by Bo Bunny.
It's got super trendy colors that are hot right now in fashion- aqua and that cute coral-pink.

The stickers are even glittered and embellished with rhinestones.

Isn't this mailbox the CUTEST?  The little red hearts are new Heart Pearls by Doodlebug.

And here's my second card with this line.

Both of these cards were made using ONE piece of patterned paper and ONE sticker pack.
(minus the card  base).
Fun, right?  Plus there's still another sticker left to make another card with.

These dimensional cardstock stickers are darling!  And I love the little rhinestone heart.

I thought this sticker would make a cute postage stamp :)
I just love it.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope you "loved" my projects ;)
Now I'm off to finish MORE fun Valentines projects you'll get to see in the coming weeks!

Pebbles New Product Releases- Love You More, Basics, and Party

Pebbles has released images of their newest collections on their blog.
These new collections are perfect for scrapbooking kids (which is what I do :) So I'm excited!

Next week I'll  have some new projects to post.  I've been working on layouts and cards for Pebbles and Heartland Paper.  I've also been working with a brand new release from Doodlebug, and a darling fabric project for Bella Blvd, and you'll see both of those a bit later :)

Enjoy the best of both worlds with the two playful themes of Love You More, a line that captures the innocence and playfulness of little girls and boys. Sweetly colored florals, hearts, butterflies and umbrellas meet the deeper hues of cars, clouds and cute critters. Two distinct, yet mixable themes assure that Love You More is a collection of playtime fun.

The collection offers 12 sheets of double-sided paper, Chipboard Thickers and mini-alpha stickers, which add character to the text of your projects, while accent stickers complement any page. The collection also includes coordinating journaling cards, a circle journal in two designs, and sticky notes. Document memories of the sweetest kind with the Love You More collection.

Simple is beautiful with Pebbles Basics. Even the most basic patterns are brilliant and in style. The versatility of the Basics collection ensures it can serve as the foundation or accent of any project. The paper comes in bright colors and classic patterns that coordinate with a host of matching embellishments. This line is incredibly versatile and easy to use for everything from parties to cards to memory keeping.

The Pebbles Basics collection includes patterned paper in 12 colors; patterns include dots, chevron, grids, florals and more. Paper pads made especially for card-making add a dynamic option to complement the Thickers, mini phrase stickers, and card sentiment phrases. Completing the collection are two banner kits, journaling cards, library pockets, rhinestone flowers, washi tape and Chipboard tags.
