Imaginisce for Core'dinations Cardstock and a Giveaway!

This week Imaginisce teamed up with Core'dinations Cardstock to create some fun projects.
We're playing with Core'dinations' fabulous color core cardstock, and they're playing with our I-Rock tool.

Fun fun fun.

I'm in love with this cardstock.  It's super heavy duty, the texture's beautiful, and it embosses and distresses so perfectly.  There are tons of colors to choose from, too, all with a beautiful color in the core that comes through when it's torn, embossed or distressed.
You can see all of the Imaginisce Design Team's projects this week on the Imaginisce Blog.

I decided to make two cards with the Hippity Hop collection.

The scalloped oval is a Lifestyle Crafts nesting die, as well as the oval on top of it.  I die-cut the egg with the Picturesque Cricut cartridge, cut the top with some decorative edge scissors, and covered it with strips of embossed Core'dinations cardstock.  I embossed the strips with some skinny Cuttlebug folders.  The designs on the embossing folders reminded me of an easter egg, so there you go!

Isn't the colored core great?
This next card I decided to call "Showered With Love"

The clouds are from the Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge and are embossed with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirls embossing folder.

Both cards were sanded over the embossed areas to show the colored core.
