On the Doodlebug Blog this week the designers are creating projects about things they love.
I thought I'd express my undying love for color- particularly Doodlebug's bright happy color palate- in a layout about a very colorful event.
My parents and all the kids and spouses/girlfriends did a 5K this past summer called the Color Run.
It's the most fun non-competitive "race" you'll ever do.
For every K you run through, you get a different colored powder thrown on you, until you reach the end of the race and you're colored head to toe (and in places you didn't know colored powder could get) Ha!!
So fun. For real. You should totally do it. But don't wear clothing you care about because the color won't come completely out of anything.
Don't you just love layouts with bad iPhone pictures on them? ;)
I wasn't about to bring a real camera with me, that's for sure!
The embellishments are actually all from a pack that I received last year at Doodlebug's National Scrapbook Day event. We received kits to make layouts, but I didn't have time to do mine. I used the two kits and put the papers and embellishments together and created a different layout.
These papers and embellishments are from several lines from last year, as well as petite prints. The multi-color flower is a Doodle Pop, and the butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch. The heart is a Stampin Up punch.
Thanks for visiting!
Tiffany
