Valentine's Layout and Cards-New Lines from My Mind's Eye, Echo Park and Bo Bunny

Have you ever created a layout and then stepped back and thought "this is my favorite layout ever"?
Well that's what happened to me with this one.

It has a lot to do with the beautiful baby girl in the photo, of course, but also because this line by My Mind's Eye is breathtaking.  It's feminine and detailed, and has such delicate elements and design.

These beautiful chipboard banners are self adhesive and the glitter won't rub off.
I layered them for more dimension, and so I could incorporate every one on the die cut sheet.

The collection also has a beautiful brad pack, some solid colored, some with patterns, and some with die cuts attached.  They're simply beautiful.

The butterfly, date label, and the banner with the title are all from a 12x12 sticker sheet.

This is definitely a layout I'll frame and never put into an album once I get it back.
(All these projects are currently at my local scrapbook store, Heartland Paper Company).

Echo Park has a fun new Valentine's line out right now called Love Story.
It's got a great mix of lovely almost vintage looking elements mixed with bright bold colors and trendy patterns.

The cupcake and stand, heart candy, button, and flags are from the chipboard accents sheet.  It has so many more of the cutest little images, including a "sweet" banner and a darling little camera.  I'll definitely be making more with those.

All the papers on this card are from this collection except for the white cardstock with black polka dots, which is Bo Bunny Double-Dot cardstock.
The twine is Doodlebug's DoodleTwine.

And finally I made two cards with the new Love Letters line by Bo Bunny.
It's got super trendy colors that are hot right now in fashion- aqua and that cute coral-pink.

The stickers are even glittered and embellished with rhinestones.

Isn't this mailbox the CUTEST?  The little red hearts are new Heart Pearls by Doodlebug.

And here's my second card with this line.

Both of these cards were made using ONE piece of patterned paper and ONE sticker pack.
(minus the card  base).
Fun, right?  Plus there's still another sticker left to make another card with.

These dimensional cardstock stickers are darling!  And I love the little rhinestone heart.

I thought this sticker would make a cute postage stamp :)
I just love it.

Thanks for visiting.  Hope you "loved" my projects ;)
Now I'm off to finish MORE fun Valentines projects you'll get to see in the coming weeks!

Lifestyle Crafts/QuicKutz New "It Kits" and 4x4 Alphabet Dies

Wow! Two releases in two weeks for Lifestyle Crafts!
This one's a fun one.
I love the "It Kits," and they're releasing three more today:

I used Label It and Tab It on this layout,
as well as four new 4x4 alphabets that are also being released today:

My boys are two years apart but everyone asks me if they're twins, because they're the same size, same height, and do everything together.  They're each other's best friends.  They just finished their baseball season, so I wanted to document it for them.  They love seeing layouts that they're in :)

Here are three of the alphabets and a Label It die

I used a Tab It die to make the pennant, and here's the fourth alphabet

The paper is by Echo Park and the twine is The Twinery.

Check out Lifestyle Crafts' website HERE to see the new releases.

My National Scrapbook Day Celebration at Doodlebug- Part 2!

Welcome back!
Are you excited to see the rest of the fabulousness that is the Doodlebug Office?
Get ready for more color, more fun and more cuteness :)

Recognize the cute pattern framed on the wall?
It's from Hello Spring.  They had frames with their paper all over the offices.

Can you imagine all the goodies in those boxes?
Pretty much everything they're ever produced is in this huge warehouse, and this is only a few aisles.  This warehouse was huge!

I loved Cynthea's cute cupcake and bubblegum office.
Her pillows were from IKEA.  She even has her own bathroom!
LOVE.

Can you picture Cynthea driving in a lifesize version of this car? :)

The filming room where Stacy did her live broadcast:

Recognize some of these from their ads?

Stacy Julian during her live broadcast for Big Picture Classes.
Her Creative Crop challenge was to create a layout with a "fanciful frame."

Wendy Sue Anderson on the far right who's on the Design Team with me.

This is another one of their cute classrooms.  They have three- the one Stacy filmed in, this one, and the one Stacy did another class in I'll show you below.  This is where Cynthea taught a layout class.

Here's a peek at one of the layouts they made.

And this is the class Stacy taught later in the day.  I wish I could have stayed for it, I heard it was wonderful.

I headed over to Paper Creations, a great scrapbook store in Salt Lake City, to teach a class for Doodlebug.  I designed a 2 page layout for the class using Hello Spring.

It was a great class, with very sweet fun ladies.
They actually spent the entire day there taking one class after another.

We did prize drawings, and the ladies and I had a lot of fun.

Here's a layout in progress
The classes were all done by major Utah-based scrapbooking manufacturers.  They had classes by My Mind's Eye, Authentique, Bo Bunny, Basic Grey, Doodlebug, Echo Park, and more.

Echo Park was right after my class, and Madison Parker himself came to teach the class, so I got to talk with him for a bit.  He and Cynthea are two of the nicest, down-to-earth people you'll ever meet.

I spent the rest of the day at home with my family celebrating my son's 6th birthday.
We took him to dinner at his favorite restaurant, and then to a place that had laser tag, skating, bounce houses, arcades, and bowling.  It was a great fun-filled day- and I was exhausted by the end of it :)

Thanks for visiting and coming on my National Scrapbook Day tour.
I hope your NSD was filled with paper, die cuts, stickers, ribbon, glue and lots of creativity!
