American Crafts Dear Lizzie Fifth & Frolic Layout

will be debuting in all JoAnn's stores on March 17th!

The line, designed by the incredibly talented Elizabeth Kartchner
features crisp blues, pinks, greens, yellows and airy neutrals with hints of gold.

I've been a huge fan of Fifth & Frolic ever since I first laid eyes on it, and I'm a huge fan of all the Dear Lizzy lines from American Crafts.  They are always soft and lovely, with beautiful images and embellishments.

I was sent some of the beautiful papers in this line, and some of the embellishments. It is an honor to be able to review this line and help promote it's release.

"Three"

This background paper is my favorite of the collection.  I love the colors, the pattern, everything.  It's happy and bold, yet soft.  Can something be bold and soft?  It's beautiful.

The "3" card was cut from a piece of patterned paper, and aren't those brads to die for?
I love that the brad pack has such a great variety of metal and fabric brads in a variety of colors.
The feathers are from a dimensional sticker pack.  There are three sets of feathers in the pack, and they come with the rhinestones and twine already attached!

These cute little hearts were punched from a sheet of POW Glitter paper.  I love this paper because it's got brilliant sparkle, but if you feel it, it's perfectly smooth, and the glitter doesn't come off!
American Crafts is brilliant :)

Here's my favorite brad of the pack.  Isn't it darling?
A lot of the thin border pieces on this layout are from the bar code strip of the patterned paper.
American Crafts and their sister companies always put a pattern on the reverse side of the bar code strip that you can use.
Didn't I already say the word brilliant?  I'll say it again- Brilliant!!

And aren't the little banner pieces too cute?
I'd love to take credit for creating them and stitching on them, but believe it or not they come this way!
They are called Flutterbys and are from the sheet below.  They come punched, you just gently tug and pop the strand out, and they're connected by the string.
Love love these.

Doodlebug "Spring" Layout with the Flower Box collection

Doodlebug released it's new (and super cute) Flower Box Collection on the blog yesterday.
This collection is seriously adorable.  I love the colors and all the darling patterns.

This layout was on the blog yesterday.  You can see it HERE.

Aren't the little bright trees so cute?  The title is one of the new Simply Put 4x6 cards.  These card packs are great because you can use them for divided page protectors (think Project Life) or card bases or for scrapbooking.  And the reverse side of the cards is the same patterned turned the other direction so they can be used for horizontal or vertical page protectors.  Genius!

Doodlebug also released TONS of new washi tape patterns.  This aqua hounds tooth is one of them.
Cute!
And the dimensional flower in the bottom corner is from the new Mini Flowers Pack.  The pack comes with over 35 reversible pieces to mix and match to make your own flowers. I added dimensional foam adhesive to make them "pop"

And of course new totally adorable Mini Doodle Pops stickers.  These come in a pack with two butterflies and two flowers.  One of the flowers is under the photo.

Cute.
Cute.
Cute.

What do you think?

Pebbles Party with Amy Locurto "Superheroes" Layout

Pebbles released a new line called "Party with Amy Locurto" and it's a versatile line for scrapbooking kids.  Amy is a party planner who has lended her talent to Pebbles with this line that includes superheroes, the beach and swimming/mermaid themed products.

Here's my take on the superhero side of things:

My boys love dressing up in their superhero costumes and running around the house with their friends defeating the enemy and saving the world.

I used the paper flowers (rosettes) and the paper banner- but I cut the banner into individual elements and placed them on tabs (pow!, zap!).  They come in three vellum banners stitched with thread.

There are lots of great stickers in this line as well, that are not shown here, that would be great for party invitations and decor, cupcake toppers, banners, and favors.

Check out the whole line HERE.
And see more Party with Amy Locurto on the Pebbles Blog all week HERE.
