Bella Blvd 2013-2014 Design Team Announcement!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be continuing on the Bella Blvd Design Team
as a Fabric Artista!  I am so honored that I get this awesome opportunity.
I love that I get to be on a design team where I get to sew.
It was a blast last year, and I'm so excited to get started this year!

Halloween Treat Bag Tutorial!

Featuring "Too Cute To Spook" fabrics
by Bella Blvd for Riley Blake Fabrics

Have you always wanted to learn to sew something simple, but didn't know where to start?
If you know the basics of how to use your sewing machine, try this simple cute project for Halloween.

When I was first learning how to sew, the first project my mom had me do was a drawstring bag.
It teaches so many great sewing fundamentals, and is a great way to start.

It only takes a few basic sewing tools, and you can make it any size you want to!

I created a full, step-by-step photo tutorial for the Bella Blvd blog, and you can find it HERE.

And as a side note- it's not wise to buy a huge bag of Halloween candy two months before Halloween to do a photo shoot with.  I had good intentions of having self control,

Goofball! A Doodlebug Layout

This is my adorable little boy who has the most entertaining personality on the planet.
He posed for these pictures three years ago, and I've been waiting to figure out what to do with them all.

It's so funny that these glasses actually fit on the picture :)
It fits his goofy personality perfectly.

The "Day to Day" collection by Doodlebug has the most fun little embellishments called "Pixies."
I am so excited to do a party with these things, and use them as food toppers.
But they're great for papercrafting and anything else you'd want to do with them.
I love them on cards.

And my other favorite embellishments are these adorable little "Doodads."
They're buttons, that actually have a pin on the back, so you could wear them if you wanted to!

Check out the Day to Day collection.
You'll love the bright colors, and fun cameras, eyeglasses, mustaches, and people.
It's just plain cute :)

Pebbles Basics Blog Hop- Baby Gift Set

(Giveaway closed)

Welcome to the Pebbles Design Team "Basics Blog Hop!"
We're sharing our Pebbles Basics projects with you today and there are lots of giveaways, so be sure to check by each designer's blog to increase your chance of winning!

For this blog hop, the Pebbles team was challenged to create a project of their choice using the Pebbles Basics collection. We really wanted to show you just how versatile this line is...

Here's how today's blog hop is going to work...Visit each blog, leave a sweet note and in some cases enter to win a Pebbles mini giveaway. Once you've stopped by each site, come back and enter to win a collection of Pebbles Basics products worth $200 (that's a lot of product folks!).

Using the Basics collection makes these two projects super fast and easy.
The banner was made using the Banner Kit, which includes 24 pre-cut banners and matching twine.

The Basics collection makes card making easy, too.  This card was made using the Cardmaking Pad for the base, and Cards & Pockets for the money holder.  I embellished with Chips and Rhinestone Flowers, a banner from the Banner Kit, a Mini Clothespin and more cute twine.

The letters were cut using the Cricut Expression and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.  I cut them at 2".
The scalloped circles were cut using an EK Success paper punch.

Did you notice the cute stamped sentiment on my card?
It's from the awesome new date stamp by Pebbles!

I simply rolled the letters where I wanted them for the sentiment and as I rolled I pushed the words into clusters.  The rubber is pretty flexible so it will move a little to where you need it.

Then I simply inked the area I wanted and stamped!

The other Pebbles team members have come up with some really, really amazing projects too. Here's a sampling...
