Bella Blvd Fabric Style with Silhouette! Girl's Summer Outfit + Promo

Bella Blvd had a fun opportunity to team up with Silhouette, and I was able to play with the new
Fabric Blade and Heat Transfer Interfacing.
It was such a fun project, that I decided to create a full step-by-step tutorial to go along with it.

You can find the FULL TUTORIAL which walks you through how to cut fabric with the Silhouette Cameo
and create a NO SEW design for a shirt, go to the Bella Blvd Blog HERE!

I also decided to create a matching skirt and headband to make a complete outfit.

The headband features Crochet Flowers and Crochet Hearts by Bella Blvd.
They are great for fabric projects, too!

And the skirt and shirt feature Bella Blvd's Sunny Happy Skies and Puppy Park fabrics for Riley Blake Fabrics.

A Doodlebug Baby Shower!

My sister just had her first little girl, so I wanted to do a family shower for her to help out with all the cute little pink things she would need.  My mom threw it at her house, and did the centerpiece and the food, and I did the decorations and invitations.  It turned out really cute.

You can find a similar invitation to this in the Create: Baby magazine from 2012 that was designed for a little boy.  The Doodle Pops make it so easy and fun to create quick cute cards.

I've definitely made my share of banners, and this one is similar to the birthday one I did a couple of years ago (you can see that one HERE).

I love making diaper cakes.  Sometimes I'll fill them with baby gifts, too, like rattles, pacifiers, bottles, burp cloths, etc.  This time it's just diapers, and I gave her the quilt I made from THIS POST.

Cute paper flags are easy and add a nice touch to the food.

Thanks for visiting.

Pebbles Lakeside Collection- Quick and Easy Project

Remember Pebbles announcing this collection?
Well.... it's HERE!!!

I used it to create a super simple fast and cute project for my parents.
They've always dreamed of owning their own cabin by our favorite lake, and now they finally own one.
They bought it just before Mother's Day, so I wanted to give them a Mother's Day gift that they could cherish that represented all the people in their family.  This is a collage of several boating trips and includes the kids, and the grandkids.  My mom just loved it :)

How simple and easy, right?
Call it a super sized scrapbook page :)
I picked up the frame for only $15 at Wal Mart and then embellished each opening.

I used Pebbles Lakeside 4x6 Journaling Cards as some of the photos, and then embellished the family photos with stickers, tags, patterned paper and twine.  I also used a few Family Ties stickers.

Scrapbooking and paper crafting doesn't have to be overwhelming and time consuming.  The part that took the longest was finding all the photos and printing them.  I love looking at the photos and remembering each and every trip, and I can't wait to create another one will all the new memories we'll create at the lake.

See lots of new Lakeside projects on the Pebbles blog this week HERE.

Pebbles Sketch Layout- Never Grow Up

Each month there are usually two Page Maps sketches that the Pebbles design team uses to create fun layouts.  This month I was assigned this cute sketch.

And here's my layout.

I haven't used Sunnyside in a while, and with the weather getting warmer I wanted to pull it out.  It's so happy and cute.  This is my daughter at the playground (don't you love iPhone pictures?) and as I watched her that day I got a little emotional thinking about how much I love her at this age.  I love everything about her and I wish I could freeze time and keep her at this point in her life.  But I know that each year I'll love her more and more as I watch her grow.

The flowers were cut from the Cricut Bloom cartridge and the title was made with a couple of fonts on my Silhouette, welded together, and then offset twice for the shadows.
